Love, the one word that always elicits a response, an emotion from us; never are we indifferent from love. What would be the world if there was no love, nothing to show or care? Who better than the ace blogger and author of Metro Diaries; a collection of 20 love stories.
Today I welcome Namrata aka Privy Trifles on my blog to share her views on Love and what she feels is the epitome of Love. As she says, “Love stories aren’t created; they are captured.” Over to Namrata as she shares her thoughts……
“Love is the most abused word, yet Love makes the world go round.”
It is abused because these days people have changed the real meaning of love to suit their needs. At the end of the day we all are selfish and perhaps that is what has become the other meaning of love. True selfless love where the other person is kept before you has become a thing of the past.
It hurts to see that true. But I as a person would like to concentrate more on the solutions than the problem. And for me my book or my blog is one of the solutions. I try to bring our real like stories which inspire you to believe that love does exist. However less, not as much as we would have liked it to it does and that is a sign enough for us to do something about it.
We need to think how many times have we been selfless before expecting our partner or other loved ones in our life to be so. Perhaps then we would be able to see how it is not so easy and what all goes on in a human mind before becoming selfish.
I have and will always firmly believe that love makes the world go round. A tender hug, a loving word of care and a tiny speck of compassion in your eyes can do wonders. It can give hope to someone who has lost it all and maybe save someone’s life who has began to believe there is no hope left on this earth.
I love travelling a lot and in those travels often I meet a lot of people. It is through them that I have learnt this lesson. At the end of the day we all are love hungry souls and who feeds us love becomes special for us. We might not remember names or their faces but we will always remember how they made us feel. Isn’t it?

She dons various hats between that of a contributing author to 8 anthologies a reviewer for leading publishing houses an editor to various books and a columnist. Apart from that she is also the editor for an online magazine called Writer’s Ezine. Having mastered the nuances of finance till recently she also held the title of an investment banker closely to let it go to embrace her love for writing fully.
