Christmas Blitz is a delightful, funny, sexy and mushy romance. Christmas love stories are just so sweet and full of hope that I cannot resist reading them. They bring hope and joy to me as a reader and so much love and romance. Christmas Blitz is no exception, it has all the elements to make it a fast and pleasurable read.
Holly is a sweet, smart girl who life dealt a bad hand so she could not go to college but now is working extra jobs to ensure she gets out of Hilldale. She feels like an outsider in spite of having lived there all her life but meeting Nick changes all that.
Nick is the quintessential hero and all-star boy of the town who is back for a bit of a break and rest. They meet and spark fly, that Holly already has a crush on him makes it all sweeter. I liked the way the two of them met and the surprise element.
It is a sweet, sexy love story with a good dose of Christmas magic. When Nick turned on his charm Holly really did not have a chance. It has a fun side as well, I was in splits while reading about the restaurant and its gourmet food. The story is fast paced, full of bit size pieces of surprise along the way. Amy has woven the elements of a beautiful Christmas along with love and a feeling of togetherness as she managed to make the town a part of their love story by supporting Nick as he wooed Holly.
A straight forward, cute romance that I enjoyed and finished in a jiffy. Christmas Blitz is an ideal book for a quick refreshing read.
