Blogchatter and Readomania are true blue homegrown brands that I’ve seen flourish and always wanted to be a part of. A call for the Blogchatter Anthology was an unmissable opportunity for me to join them. The theme of the anthology for this year was love, and I lovingly wrote my story.
Love and fiction are the perfect combination and I put aside my ‘what-ifs’ and submitted my story titled Love Paused.
The Blogchatter Anthology 2024 was published and released on 28/10/2024 in Kolkata with my first story in an anthology. Please see the beautiful cover and all the love-filled stories this anthology is made of. I couldn’t resist clicking photos of the Book of Love with my Angel of Love.

Because of my health issues, I haven’t been submitting stories for any anthologies, but the theme of Love made me do it. 🙂 It’s an immense boost for me as a self-published author to be traditionally published.

See these beautiful, fresh off-the-press copies of the Book of Love. I marvel at them each day, motivated to write more and write daily.

The theme of Love has always been on my mind, and it piqued my interest so much that I got down and wrote a story about middle-aged love. I think it is also a reflection of the times we are going through amidst the discussions I have with my friends and we all are clearly in our mid-forties. 😀
My story Love Paused is about the change in dynamics and relations when a couple ages. Does the familiarity help, or does it hinder? Is being together for too long a disadvantage when you are in trouble? Does Love pause as you age in a relationship, or is it the relationship that pauses?
It’s my first traditionally published story and I’m super eager for you all to read it. Many of my close friends have bought their copy of the Book of Love. It is about a middle-aged couple who find love after life gets too busy for them. And no, the pause isn’t about covid.
The anthology features multi-talented authors with diverse backgrounds and love stories featuring all the shades of love. Read the blurb to know more and order your copy. I can’t wait for your thoughts on the 18 stories in the anthology.
