Love Heals! NO ESCAPE FROM LOVE by Reet Singh

NO ESCAPE FROM LOVE is a sweet, second chance romance. Love finds the most interesting places to visit and this book is no different.

I had read this book last year but the review was in limbo. Here it is now, I recommend you pick this book. It is the right romance to read this winter and enjoy Reet’s writing and soak in the beauty of Punjab.

Love, romance and responsibilities bring an unlikely couple together.
I loved the fast, light romance and great chemistry. No Escape From Love funny, interesting and well written.

Mohini and Aalok are not looking for love but are drawn to each other. She is living away from the city and Aalok wants a break from the city. The village and the simple pace of life bring them together.

The story is based in a small village of Punjab and in Delhi. I picked this book since I love everything Reet writes. I also liked its setting in a small village in Punjab, reminding of the open fields, small houses and freedom. It has a feel-good factor and the beautiful descriptions brought the village, the locals and the vibrant work alive.

Mohini is a designer and runs a factory in the village. She employees the locals and the descriptions felt real and the clothes beautiful.

The chemistry shared between Aalok and Mohini was a plus and had me turning the pages. The author writes very well, her sentences flow along with the story. No Escape From Love is a fast read, a quick romance novel with interesting characters and funny incidents.

The past holds Mohini back, a kid who is her responsibility and future. Even though they both feel the attraction, their circumstances make it difficult for them to accept their love for each other.

Love means you will move out of your comfort zone and this was no different. No Escape From Love dissolved all issues and blocks from their life while they blossomed together.

What Works in NO ESCAPE FROM LOVE :

  • Very sweet story.
  • A story of the life of any woman who loved too much.
  • The romance blossomed so naturally that it felt just right.
  • Reet’s writing is always spot on!

.

Some Slips in NO ESCAPE FROM LOVE :

  • I found the total denial of Mohini a bit much.
  • The relatives need their own love story. I expect another book soon from Reet.
  • I wanted to know more about Mohini’s husband. Just my curiosity.

.

I enjoyed No Escape From Love just as much as the previous books by Reet. It’s perfect for a fast, light read. Good language and story, No Escape from Love is the book for readers who are romance lovers.

No Escape from Love

After personal tragedy strikes, Mohini Kapoor runs away from the city to her grandparents home in a village in Punjab. Though she manages to pick up the pieces of her broken self, and even builds a life for herself, the horror of her experience is difficult to forget. She buries it deep down inside her subconscious mind until the arrival of a stranger threatens to resurrect the old demons.

Reputed photojournalist, Aalok Ahuja, has to hide out for a few days to escape circumstances beyond his control. When his friend recommends Tejopur, a remote village in Punjab, Aalok expects life to be simple there and, perhaps, even boring – instead, his world is thrown into chaos by a woman more desirable, and vastly more complicated, than any he has ever known.

When their destinies collide, attraction flares, but secrets threaten their new found feelings. Should they cut and run or give love a chance?
