#BookReview The Eligible Princess by Summerita Rhayne

I have read the first book and was eager to read what was in store for the second princess. The story, series and characters are all well fleshed out. The setting, the palaces and the lifestyle of royalty transported me to the bygone era.
The story is about getting the Princess Lakshya married and about the new King Kartik looking for a suitable queen, who would also cement his social standing in the society. The fun part is when the two meet and interact and sparks just flew off the pages of the book.
I was so impressed with Lakshaya. She is a beautiful, intelligent and courageous woman in her own right. Her pursuit of knowledge and intellect and her wisdom sets her apart from the other women.
King Kartik, well I would love to meet him and spend quality time with him. He is from humble beginning yet he stands out. He is a trustworthy, strong, consummate and dashing guy; the perfect hero. Handsome and rock solid!
Summerita writes with passion and dedication and it shows in the words and pages of the book. This book is a standalone book yet it feels linked to the previous book still it can be read in continuation to book 1. The best part about the book is the sizzling chemistry of Kartik and Lakshaya and the strength and conviction of the characters.
The kingdom, the royalty and love; all of it just comes alive in this heady romance – action, treachery and intrigue all add up to make The Eligible Princess a wonderful read. Pick it for the perfect read for the holidays.

The Eligible Princess (Kamboj Princesses Saga, #2)  by Summerita Rhayne

BLURB:

….After Hidden Passion, the Kamboj Princesses Saga continues with Rukmani’s sister Lakshaya…

King Kartikeya must marry a princess. He’s determined to do anything to keep the kingdom he has taken with strategy and sheer guts. If that involves charming a princess into marriage, then so be it.
Princess Lakshaya infinitely prefers the study of science to the art of impressing a suitor. In fact, she would rather have no more proposals at all. But refusing a king as opulent as Kartik is out of question. Drawn against her will by the force of his attraction, she begins to accept him, only to discover hidden secrets along the way.
Can she bring herself to go ahead with this marriage?
Set in Early Middle Ages in India, Book 2 in the Kamboj Princesses Saga follows Lakshaya in her journey to discover desire, passion, intrigue and love.
