The Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool Book Review

The Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool Cover
The Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool is a delightful story about a princess who is hiding from enemies trying to kidnap her. She is Harmonie, the princess who bring Harmony to the world. While she is hiding from her enemies she makes friends with other Mystic Princesses.
Confident, intelligent and smart girls who look for solutions for any problem they face make ideal role models for young girls to look up too. I plan to gift this book with lovely strong characters that inspire to my nieces too.
The girls not only learn to help each other but themselves too. The story is a delight to read with all the magic and mystery. This book is an adventure filled with butterflies, rainbows, dolphins and lots of magic. The five girls learn how to use their magic and master the art of using their powers for good. The Mystic Princesses and the Whirlpool teaches the kids about realizing their own strengths, keeping faith and finding true friends and lasting friendship with trust.
The language of the book is excellent and makes the whole story more interesting to read. Each chapter is complete in itself making it an ideal read for young children who would not be able to read the full book in one go. The colorful well drawn illustrations make it more interesting to read. The easy to read language will encourage readers to read more.
This is a book which will engross our young readers and teach them about life, self confidence, friendships and believing in themselves. I look forward to reading the second book in this series soon as the magic continues with Mystic Princess.

About the Author: PJ LaRue

PJ LaRue

PJ LaRue wrote poetry in high school, but she discovered writing children’s books and short stories later in life. Her writing inspirations are hiking, photography and environmental consciousness, but she links these interests to much larger social issues. A person very close to PJ was molested as a child, making PJ passionate about providing child safety tips. And, PJ was bullied in the third grade by girls much larger than she, who demanded that PJ give them her lunch money. As a result, PJ is committed to spreading the word that bullying must be stopped.
One of PJ’s goals is to help educate children, parents and caregivers, in a fun way, using her children’s book series, The Mystic Princesses. Because PJ loves to travel, the princesses will visit many locales, learning about environmental concerns along the way.
