CATERPILLAR SHOES Book Review

Caterpillar Shoes

MY REVIEW

This is a beautifully illustrated story book about Patches, caterpillar. She is an adventurous, happy and a fun loving little critter. The pictures are very well drawn and so colorful and fresh. The bright smiling caterpillar shares with us all the options it has for the various activities.

Through a simple choice of shoes she manages to talk about doing what we feel in our hearts. Follow your heart, be free and live free are the simple message this book shares.

I really liked the story line where in our simple everyday choice of attire reflects into our actions for all things in our lives. The pretty six legged creature represents the many options available to us and is a beautiful book for teaching our kids about choices and their results.

Did I mention the colorful pictures? Yep, I loved them; wanna make a few posters to hang in my kid’s room.

Pick the book and share fun and learning with your kids.

About the Author: Angela Muse

Angela Muse

Angela was born in California to a military family. This meant that she got used to being the “new kid” in school every couple of years. It was hard trying to make new friends, but Angela discovered she had a knack for writing. In high school Angela began writing poetry and song lyrics. Expressing herself through writing seemed very natural. After becoming a Mom in 2003, Angela continued her storytelling to her own children. In 2009 she wrote and published her first rhyming children’s book aimed at toddlers. Since then she has released several more children’s picture books and released her first young adult romance series, The Alpha Girls, in 2012. Angela’s husband, Ben Muse writes suspense/thriller books that can also be found on Amazon. Check out what else she’s working on by visiting www.4eyesbooks.com
