Pai, Pran & Pattanaik shine as P #AtoZChallenge

With the alphabet P, I bring two authors whom I grew up with and who groomed my generation with a very positive attitude towards India. I share Uncle Pai of Tinkle fame and Pran from Chacha Chaudhary. Who hasn’t read these two?

The third author is present day India, history & mythology fan; Devdutt Pattanaik. I have only heard praise and more praise even though I have not read him but then 2 out of 3 is not bad 😉

Anant Pai, popularly known as Uncle Pai, was an Indian educationalist and a pioneer in Indian comics. He is most famous as the creator of two comic book series viz. Amar Chitra Katha, which retold traditional Indian folk tales, mythological stories, and biographies of historical characters; and Tinkle, a children’s anthology.
Pran Kumar Sharma   better known as Pran, was anIndian cartoonist best known as the creator of Chacha ChaudharyIn 1969, Pran sketched Chacha Chaudhary for the Hindimagazine Lotpot, which made him famous.
Pran has also created other cartoon characters like Shrimatiji, Pinki, Billoo, Raman, Channi Chachi and others, which are regularly published in Indian magazines. 
Devdutt Pattanaik is a renowned author, mythologist, and leadership consultant, whose work focuses on deriving management insights from mythology to reveal a very Indian approach to modern business.  He has authored over 30 books, many of them best-sellers like Myth = Mithya, Business Sutra, The Pregnant King, and Jaya: An illustrated retelling of the Mahabharata.
