K is Khushwant, Khera, Kazi & Kundu #AtoZChallenge

I again use both first name and surname for this alphabet. Khushwant Singh is in K because S is such a common alphabet that there is a big war going on there already.

Yes, choosing authors for S is difficult because I am spoilt for choice! For K today I have 4 authors yet again that I had to feature, all of them with very diverse books and views yet all doing extremely well in their writing.

If writing stirs our passion then it has done its job is the best example of their writing.

So go ahead and tell me who do you like best?

Khushwant Singh (2 February 1915 – 20 March 2014) was an Indian novelist, lawyer, politician and journalist. As a writer, Singh was best known for his trenchant secularism,  his humour, and abiding love for poetry.
His comparisons of social and behavioural characteristics of Westerners and Indians are laced with acid wit. He served as the editor of several literary and news magazines, as well as two newspapers, through the 1970s and 1980s.
He was the recipient of Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award in India.
