Desai, Desai, Daswani, Durjoy #AToZChallenge

The 4thletter has inspired me to try and encompass as many authors as I can find for the alphabet. So I think it was destined that I talk about 4 authors today. So cool; 4th alphabet = 4 authors.

I start with the supper acclaimed and talented Anita Desai, a writer who needs no introduction. She is followed by her own daughter; Kiran Desai. The winner of the Man Booker Prize. Both ladies are stars in their own right but of course Anita Desai is an institution in herself!

Next another lady graces the blog with her romantic, thoughtful and very current books; Kavita Daswani has been writing and shares the foreign and Indian sentiment perfectly.

I finish the alphabet D with the cute, handsome dude; Durjoy Dutta who looks like a star rather than a writer but his books say otherwise. Read along and tell me which one you plan to read first?
