Challenging My Love

If we talk of love we always say that true love is something that makes us stronger, nurtures us and grows with us. For me my most favorite and growing over the years love has been reading.
I even read off scraps of paper in which something comes wrapped, I read any book, magazine or journal I can lay my hands on in any waiting room, even if I carry my own book – what if I miss a really good article? I cannot pack anything in a newspaper before scanning it for a good read!

Read, read and read some more!!

The year is about to end and as is the norm during year end, we start thinking about all the things we managed to do and many more we did not do. I am no different and even though I don’t tend to sulk over missed goals I do  try not to set really difficult ones too.
In fact I make it a point to not get pulled into the whole “New Year Resolutions” but when I saw the post about an annual reading challenge I could not resist myself.
As this is about my first love, it is not too difficult and it allows me to combine fun and work together and enjoy it too!

So I have joined not one but two Book Reading Challenges which are hosted by TheBookVixen.com

It is called the ……………
For this Challenge I shall try to be
Out of Breath: read 6–10 more books
 (1,500–2,749 more pages)”
2015 Outdo Yourself Reading Challenge

I shall be trying to be a “Penny Pincher: read 24 ebooks”
2015 Read Your Freebies Reading Challenge

Here is a link to my Goodreads shelf so that I can share and tell you how I progress through the year with my reading.

MY GOODREADS SHELF

I hope to combine both the challenges and hopefully not become a book worm 😉 So here is reading late into the night and watching the twinkling stars when I want to read some more but my eyes say, “No More, No More!! 🙂
Wish me Luck!
What do you think, can I do it?
What about you, don’t you want to join in?

Health & Happiness Always!
