Weight is just a word. Weight is an all absorbing and obsessive word.

It follows women where ever they are, whoever they are, whatever they do.
The dictionary describes weight as many things:
·        A measurement of how heavy a person or thing is.
·        The influence or importance that something has.
·        Any heavy object, especially one that is difficult to lift or move.
·        Piece of metal that weighs a particular amount, used for measuring how much something else weighs.
·        Piece of heavy metal designed for lifting or throwing as a sport
·        A heavy object that is used for making another thing heavier
·        The condition or effect of being heavy
How do women describe it?

Each and every time, when you ask a woman or talk to any one- man or woman and use the word weight it is always associated with “how much does the person weigh?”
I too am bothered about my weight and how it is getting way beyond what I thought was the ideal weight I should have.
Do I obsess over it?
Do I think it is something I should be working out of my body day and night?
Do not bother about it at all, thinking that it is how my body is and there is nothing more I can do?
My life fortunately does not revolve around my weight which does not mean that I am not bothered about it. It only means that I have a weighing machine. Yes, I do have it but I do not get on it the first thing every morning.
My clothes tell me when I wear them, my heart tells me I am off the track.
All we need to remember is that is just a number and being healthy is more important than being thin.
Weight is a problem for those who are not fit; whether overweight or underweight.
Eat right, stay fit and be happy with your body image.
Do not weigh yourself but watch yourself; your heart and mind will guide you the right decision.
Love yourself as you are!
You are one of a kind!
You are perfect as a god’s creation.
Love yourself everyday!

Did you weigh yourself today or did you watch yourself today?
